In the snap, Aamir can be seen sporting a full-grown beard, a handlebar moustache and a red turban. After astonishing viewers with his drastic transformation in Dangal, looks like the superstar is all set to surprise fans yet again.
Talking about his look in the film, Aamir had earlier said, “In Thugs, my look is not like a wrestler's physique - big and broad shoulders and back. I want a leaner look".
At the premiere of Oscar-winning film, Moonlight a few days ago, wife Kiran Rao had confessed that she finds Aamir’s bearded look in the film ‘interesting’ and we can’t help but agree.
Reportedly, Thugs Of Hindostan is based on the 1839 English novel, Confessions of a Thug by Philip Meadows Taylor. The novel is a tale of crime and retribution, set in 1832 India. The plot reveals the practices of thugs, who killed travellers for money and valuables.
Aamir begins shooting for the film in May and YRF is eyeing a Diwali 2018 release. Director Vijay is coming back with his directorial after 5 years – he last helmed YRF’s Dhoom 3 (2013).
The superstar will next be seen in Secret Superstar, which has been directed by Advait Chandan and also stars Zaira Wasim and Meher Vij.
